Machines make sewing easy

Chaudhary Welfare Society members gave six hand-operated sewing machines to our school in the autumn of 2013. Treadle machines would not have been suitable for our girls, because of all them could not reach the pedals.

Hand-operated machines do not stop even during a power failure.Sewing is one of the most useful skills that they learn at school. Girls can sew later on in their own home and get some extra income to their families.

If you want to participate teaching the girls' sewing skills and help them have access to employment, donate a sewing machine and its maintenance for a year.
